Enrolment Information

Welcome! Thank you for considering the enrolment of your child at Southern Cross Catholic College.

Southern Cross Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 College. Please note, if your child is enrolled and accepted at primary level, their enrolment will automatically be carried over to the secondarycampus unless otherwise advised. This makes it an easy transition from primary to secondary education for both students and parents.

The College community prides itself on achieving the highest standards of education within a curriculum that covers the spiritual, academic, cultural, physical and social development of all students.

Students are encouraged to become involved in every aspect of College life. The wide range of extra-curricular activities offered develops your child's leadership potential and their ability to take initiative whilst they enjoy the company of fellow students.

We view education as a positive partnership between parents, staff and students and as such, invite you to visit the College so you may experience first-hand our superb learning environment and caring, spiritual community.

If you would like to submit an application, please familiarise yourself with our Enrolment Policy and the process below. If you have any queries we are more than happy to be of assistance.

How to apply

PREP to Year 6

  • Enrolment forms for Prep should be completed before at least Term 1, for enrolment the following year, however an enrolment application for your child can be done at any time prior to this;
  • Interviews will be conducted in April or May for enrolment the following year;
  • Eligible children must turn five (5) by 30 June in the year they start Prep.
  • Online enrolment applications for other year levels can be completed at any time during the year, and acceptance will be subject to selection criteria and positions available.

MIDDLE AND SENIOR YEARS

  • It is assumed all students attending primary school at SCCC will move to the Secondary Campus for high school in Year 7. Parents who have students in the primary campuses will be asked to confirm their child's Year 7 enrolment in Year 5;
  • If you are a new family to the college, please complete the online enrolment application by clicking on the link below.
  • Enrolments for other year levels are accepted throughout the year as vacancies become available.

If you wish to proceed with the application process, please follow the steps below.

  1. Click on the link for the campus you wish to enroll, enter and review the required details, complete and submit the form.
  2. N.B. – for families who are completing an online application for one of our primary campuses, they need only complete one application for the campus they would like their child to attend. If your first campus preference is unable to offer a position, you will be contacted and given the option of choosing another of our three primary campuses, at which time your child's application will be forwarded to this campus for further processing. This alleviates the need to complete an enrolment form three times. If you have any questions please call (07) 3480 3632 for clarification.

  3. If applying for enrolment for more than one (1) student, when the form is completed an option will be provided to submit an enrolment for each additional student.
  4. Contact our Enrolments Co-Ordinator Trish Young on 3480 3600 if you experience any difficulty completing the online application form.
