Year 12 student Matthew Morris has been awarded 1st place in the Royal Australian Chemical Institute titration competition, recently held at the University of Sunshine Coast.
Matthew and six other Southern Cross Catholic College students joined over 80 teams to participate in the prestigious competition.
Titration competitions test the laboratory and analytical skills of students where measuring, technique and accuracy are evaluated. This is an outstanding achievement and certainly assists Matthew in his journey toward tertiary and further study. Congratulations to Matthew, the other students who attended and special thanks to Dr Dipo Kolade our Head of Science for training our participants and attending the competition.
