Kippa Ring Campus has opened its doors to all families with pre-school aged children, with the commencement of the Little Southern Stars Playgroup.
The playgroup was established to provide local parents and carers the opportunity to meet in a relaxed environment and where children can enjoy fun games and activities, facilitated by a dedicated School Officer.
Acting Head of Campus, Mrs Mel Fallarino, said the first playgroup session was a great success.
"We're welcoming anyone in our community, even those not a part of the Southern Cross community, to come along and spend a morning in a relaxed social environment for both the adults and children.
"We had a great mix of current families and those who came along after hearing of the playgroup through word-of-mouth. It's a chance for parents to have a tea or coffee whilst their children have the chance to participate in some fun organised activities and develop those important social skills," she said.
