Four campuses, one College
Welcome!
Thank you for considering the enrolment of your child at Southern Cross Catholic College - the only co-educational Prep to Year 12 college on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
Southern Cross Catholic College is a unique Catholic College where students shine. We consist of four campuses located approximately six kilometres from each other - three primary campuses located in Woody Point, Kippa Ring and Scarborough, accommodating students from Prep to Year 6, and a secondary campus, also located in Scarborough, which accommodates students from Year 7 - 12. Each campus has its own personality and strengths to offer.
Once your child is enrolled and accepted at primary level, their enrolment will automatically be carried over to the secondary campus unless otherwise advised. This makes it an easy transition from primary to secondary education for both students and parents.
The College community prides itself on achieving the highest standards of education within a curriculum that covers the spiritual, academic, cultural, physical and social development of all students.
If you would like to submit an application, please familiarise yourself with our Enrolment Policy below and the information on the 'How to Apply' webpage. Final offers of enrolment are made by the Head of each campus and take into account the needs of each student in conjunction with the enrolment policy.
If you have any queries we are more than happy to be of assistance.
New bus services for 2025
In 2025 Southern Cross Catholic College will introduce two new FREE bus routes to service regions experiencing growing enrolments.
The first route will travel between Burpengary East and Kippa Ring Primary Campus. This 56-seat bus will have a dedicated School Officer on board for each trip as the bus will service primary-aged students attending the Kippa Ring Campus ONLY.
The second bus will operate between Bracken Ridge and Scarborough Secondary Campus primarily servicing students attending the secondary campus at Scarborough.
Routes and bus stops are still being finalised however we are calling for Expressions of Interest from those who wish their students to travel to the College on these buses, to help determine where stops may be located.
If your child is currently using the Burpengary Minibus Service in 2024 (current Kippa Ring students), it is not guaranteed you will obtain a seat in 2025. All families must submit a new Expression of Interest for 2025 and seating offers will be determined by the order of EOI submission.
Moving forward, EOIs will need to be submitted every year.
Please click on the link below to submit your Expression of Interest noting that this is an expression of your interest only, and not a seat booking. Further information regarding the final routes will be provided towards the end of Term 4, 2024.
Forms to be submitted by Friday 8 November.
